The Journey Of Legend

"The Journey of Legend" is a wuxia period drama adapted from Woon Swee’oan’s novel "Shen Zhou Qi Xia." The drama is written by Liu Fang ("Love of the Divine Tree", "Mysterious Lotus Casebook"), co-directed by Ren Haitao ("Eternal Love") and Lin Feng, and stars Cheng Yi ("Mysterious Lotus Casebook", "Deep Lurk") and Gulnazar ("Fangs of Fortune"). It tells the story of Xiao Mingming, an ardent fan of martial arts novels and a mediocre man hit by the cruel reality. He travels across the martial world through the perspective of Xiao Qiushui, the protagonist of his novel, growing from a young impulsive swordsman with subpar skills to a reliable and emotionally-open hero who protects his family and country. Since then, Xiao Mingming never forgets to keep writing in his spare time, continuously conveying the belief that people's hearts are united by righteousness through his novels.
